And girl, I get it! There are so many options. Summer? Fall? Spring? You’ve probably seen photos from every season and now you’re stuck wondering what’s best for YOU.

Summer Sessions: My Personal Fav for Senior Photos in Chillicothe
If I had to pick one season? It’s gotta be summer, specifically June and July. These months are the BEST time to take senior pictures in Chillicothe because everything is lush, green, and in full bloom.
I love summer because:
Peak prettiness. The grass is green, the flowers are poppin’, and the light is chef’s kiss perfect.
Flexible schedules. School’s out, which means more weekday availability and way less stress.
Carefree and sunny. We can hit the creek, frolic in flower fields, and soak in that golden hour glow.
August and early September are still great options, but heads up, things may start to dry out. Grass turns yellow, creeks dry up, and it’s just not quite as vibrant as those early summer months.
Fall Senior Photos: Extremely popular for a reason
Fall is seriously STUNNING here in Ohio, especially mid-October through mid-November. If you’ve been dreaming of sweaters, crisp air, and those rich autumn colors, this is your moment.
Here’s why fall may be your fav:
Gorgeous fall foliage. The leaves are turning, and the backdrop is beautiful.
Cooler temps. No sweating through your makeup or humidity hair frizz.
It feels like senior year. There’s something nostalgic and cozy about fall that just fits.
Peak leaver are usually around mid-October, but I book outdoor sessions clear through November. Just be prepared for colder weather. It’s definitely totally doable, especially if you want a cozy vibe!
Spring Sessions: The underrated season
Spring in Chillicothe can be tricky (especially March), but by April and early May, the weather starts warming up and the fields start to grow again.
Here’s what to know:
Floral vibes? Yes, but... We may need to travel to find gardens with blooming flowers.
More outfit options. Warmer temps mean lighter outfits without freezing.
Cap & gown pics? May is perfect for those post-graduation milestone moments.
